A field note

How we went
mainstream.

The long way from a small AI lab to a much bigger conversation.

There was a point when Intuitize Labs shut down. Not with a grand finale, but with the quiet feeling that the work had reached a natural stopping point.

Then we reopened it. We brought the lab back, shared what we were building, and started posting about Intuitize everywhere we could. The response surprised us.

01

The lab went quiet.

Intuitize Labs began as a place to explore useful, thoughtful AI. When the lab shut down, the ideas did not disappear, but the public work paused. We had time to look closely at what mattered: a product people could return to, understand, and make part of their day.

02

Then we opened the doors again.

Rereleasing the lab gave us a chance to build in public. We posted updates, shared the product, and told the story of what we were trying to make. One post led to another, and people began passing Intuitize along.

03

The conversation grew.

More people started trying Intuitize, writing about it, and sharing the ways it fit into their days. What began as a small release gained traction because users found something familiar in it: a tool that could be useful without asking them to change how they think.

04

Businesses found a place for it.

Businesses began using Intuitize for brainstorming, writing, research, support, and everyday work. That growth gave the lab a new responsibility: keep the experience approachable for individual users while making it dependable enough for teams.

We did not plan a shortcut to the mainstream. We built something people wanted to share.
